RANGE AND SAVE AN IMAGE. WAIT UNTIL THE DEVICE IS FINISHED BEFORE
ATTEMPTING TO TAKE ANOTHER PHOTO.
8-19-8-2 Laser Ranging
As an alternative to the laser ranging button, users can change the save settings
to automatically detect the distance from the target when the capture button is
pressed. When the capture button is pressed the device will begin measuring the
distance to the target. When finished, the distance detected by the laser ranging
tool will appear as a watermark in lower left corner of saved images.
Enable laser ranging on capture as follows:
1.
Press the Menu button to open the main menu.
2. Press down on the Thumbstick until the Save Parameters (abbreviated
Save Param) tab opens.
3. Using the touchscreen, toggle the Laser Ranging setting to the On position
by tapping the switch. The switch turns green when active. Disable Laser
Ranging on capture setting by tapping the switch again. The switch turns
gray when disabled.
4. Press the Back button to save and exit the main menu.
8-19-9 Power Management Settings
Power management is disable by default.
8-19-9-1 Sleep (Hibernation) Mode
Sleep mode is disabled by default. When enabled the camera will sleep after an
assigned amount of time of inactivity to save battery power. Adjust the sleep
mode timing as follows:
1.
Press the Menu button to open the main menu.
2. Press down on the Thumbstick until the Hibernation tab opens.
3. Using the touchscreen, tap Automatic Hibernation (abbreviated Auto Hiber).
4. Select a time limit by tapping preferred option: 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15
minutes, or Never. Selecting Never will disable hibernation mode. The
selected option will have a blue check mark next to it.
5. Press the < Hibernation button to save and exit the sub-tab.
6. Press the Back button to save and exit the main menu.
DISABLING SLEEP MODE
DRAINS THE BATTERY AT AN INCREASED RATE.
SET THE SLEEP MODE TIME TO SAVE POWER.
