Backup Alarms

to warn, anyone standing behind the vehicle, that it is in the
process of backing up. The backup alarm is activated by:
Reverse gear Alarm Option.
With foot on the service brake
pedal, shift the transmission into Reverse (R).
The backup
alarm will sound as long as the transmission shift selector
is in the Reverse (R) position.
Roll Back Alarm Option.
Release the parking brake and then
take your foot off the service brake pedal, allowing the bus to
drift backward.
The backup alarm will sound as soon as the
bus begins to roll backward.
NOTE: This optional backup alarm is activated every time
the vehicle moves backwards, in any gear, with the ignition
ON or OFF.
Economy Mode
The Economy mode provides a transmission shift schedule for
improved fuel economy. To activate this mode, switch the ECON
/ ON switch, on the right-side switch panel, to the ON position.
When in the ON position the switch indicator will be turned ON.
Automatic Transmission Operating Temperatures
Your vehicle may be equipped with a warning indicator or gauge
