supply shuts down, it automatically restarts when the main power returns.

Battery mode indicator
The battery mode indicator

shows that the uninterruptible power supply is
operating in battery mode. It comes on when the main power source fails and the
uninterruptible power supply is running on battery power. The alarm beeps once
every five seconds. When main power returns, the uninterruptible power supply
returns to normal mode, and the battery recharges. The battery mode indicator
goes out, and the alarm stops.

General alarm indicator
The general alarm indicator

, when accompanied by the audio alarm beeping
every 5 seconds, shows that the battery is low. When accompanied by a continuous
audio alarm, it shows that the internal temperature of the uninterruptible power
supply is too high, or there has been a momentary output overload.
