DANGER
These notices indicate situations that can be potentially lethal or extremely
hazardous to you. A danger notice precedes the description of a potentially
lethal or extremely hazardous procedural step or situation.

DANGER
An electrical outlet that is not correctly wired could place a hazardous voltage
on the metal parts of the system or the products that attach to the system. It is
the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the outlet is correctly wired and
grounded to prevent an electrical shock. (1)

To prevent possible electrical shock during an electrical storm, do not connect
or disconnect cables or station protectors for communications lines, display
stations, printers, or telephones. (2)

Do not attempt to open the covers of the power supply. Power supplies are
not serviceable and are replaced as a unit. (3)
DANGER
To prevent a possible electrical shock when installing the device, ensure that
the power cord for that device is unplugged before installing signal cables.

The uninterruptible power supply contains lethal voltages. All repairs and
service should be performed by an authorized service support representative
only. There are no user serviceable parts inside the uninterruptible power
supply. (5)
