Flashing amber The power supply is
about to fail because
there is a failing fan
inside the power
supply.
Replace the power supply.
Fail Below the
Predictive Failure
LED
No light (LED is off) The power supply is
either healthy or does
not have incoming
power.
Check the Power LED.
Steady amber Either the switch has
power but this power
supply does not (ac
switch might be off), or
the power supply has
failed.
Ensure that the correct ac
power switch is on and the
power supply is seated. If
the LED still displays,
replace the power supply.
Flashing amber The power supply is
unable to supply
power.
Verify that the incoming
power meets the
requirements listed in
“Power specifications” on
page 89.
