hot-swap
fan
Attention:

Replace
a
failed
fan
within
48
hours.
v
To
ensure
proper
cooling
and
airflow,
do
not
operate
the
server
for
more
than
30
minutes
with
the
side
cover
removed.
To
remove
a
hot-swap
fan,
complete
the
following
steps.
1.
Read
the
safety
information
that
begins
on
page
and
2.
Unlock
and
remove
the
side
cover
(see
3.
Take
your
finger
and
slide
the
orange
release
tab
on
the
fan
in
the
direction
indicated
by
the
arrow
on
the
top
of
the
fan
to
unlock
the
fan
handle.
Grasp
the
fan
handle
and
pull
the
fan
out
of
the
fan
cage
assembly.

If
you
are
instructed
to
return
the
fan,
follow
all
packaging
instructions,
and
use
any
packaging
materials
for
shipping
that
are
supplied
to
you.
