To replace the time-of-day battery, use your thumb to press the spring latch toward the rear of the
system and replace the time-of-day battery. The orientation of the + of the battery is up.

Prepare the system for operation. For instructions, see “Preparing the 7063-CR1 system for operation after
you remove and replace internal parts” on page 68.

You need to set the system's time after you replace the time-of-day battery. You can set the time after the
system is running by logging in to the web GUI.

Procedure

1.

Attach the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap. The ESD wrist strap must be connected to an
unpainted metal surface until the service procedure is completed, and if applicable, until the service
access cover is replaced.
