If your system uses... Then...
AC power Unplug the power cords from the power
source, and then remove the power cords.
DC power
Remove the power at the DC source, and
then remove the DC wires, if necessary.
Removing the RLM
To remove the RLM from the system, you must perform a specific sequence of
steps.
Procedure
1. Remove the bezel and locate the RLM directly under the CompactFlash carrier
on the LCD module on the front of the chassis.

Loosen the thumbscrew on the left side of the RLM carrier, and then swing the
retaining arm to the right.

Slide the RLM out of the carrier and set it aside.
Installing the RLM
You must complete a specific set of steps to install the RLM in the system.
Procedure
1. Align the replacement RLM with the carrier, gently slide it into the system
making sure that it is seated completely, and then swing the locking arm to the
left and tighten the thumbscrew.
2. Reinstall the bezel.
