14 Connecting the optional Ethernet LAN cable
Note: If this connection is being used as the
connection to the Support Element('s) you
need to install wrap plug (part 6165899) in
the unused TokenRing adapter.
The EtherNet connection has a 10BaseT (UTP),
RJ45 connection on the system unit.
1. Connect the Ethernet HUB network
connection.

Skip this step if you do not have a printer to
connect.
Note:
Setup is pre-configured at manufacturing to
support an IBM 4201 printer or compatible
for attachment to the parallel port (LPT1).
If adding a customer supplied printer or you
are changing the pre-configuration consult

1. Connect the printer cable.
Note: Refer to the manual that came with
the printer for cabling instructions to
the printer.
