Configuration rules for processor memory
Use the following configuration rules and ordering information to help you order
processor memory.
You must order one processor memory feature for the configuration of each base
model (Model 941 and Model 951).
Model 941 two-way configuration
You can select from 32 GB to 128 GB of processor memory.
Model 941 four-way configuration
You can select from 32 GB to 384 GB of processor memory.
Model 951 two-way configuration
You can select from 32 GB to 128 GB of processor memory.
Model 951 two-way configuration, business class feature code 4211
You can select from 16 GB to 64 GB of processor memory.
Note:
The 16 GB processor memory option is available with feature code
4211 for only the two-way configuration, business class feature.
Model 951 four-way configuration
You can select from 32 GB to 384 GB of processor memory.

You must specify the power features to include on your IBM System Storage
DS8870 models.
The power features are separated into the following categories:

about specific power requirements for your DS8870DS8000 storage unit.
Power cords
A pair of power cords is required for each base or expansion model. (Power cords
are also known as power cables.)
Each power cord feature provides two 1-phase or 3-phase power cords to supply
external power to the machine. These features can be used to order replacement
power cords.
