Chapter 6. Rear Tractor Use

This chapter describes the Rear Tractor Use category in the Configuration Menu. It
is displayed in the operator panel display only when the rear tractor device is
installed and the ASF is not installed. If the ASF device is installed, the only
available value is Push. If Pull or Push-Pull needs to be used, the ASF device must
first be removed from the printer.

The following values for the Rear Tractor Use are:
Push (Default)

The rear tractor is used for the Rear Push paper path. This value is always
displayed.

Pull

The rear tractor is used for the Rear Pull paper path. This value is only
displayed if the front tractor is not installed.

Push-Pull

The rear tractor is used for the Push-Pull paper path. Both rear and front
tractors must be installed for this value to be displayed.

To set the Rear Tractor Use value:

1.

Press Menu.

Press Scroll

or Scroll

until the printer displays

until the desired value is displayed.
