Complete
the
following
steps
to
cable
the
KVM
and
LAN
modules
in
a
BladeCenter
T
unit:
1.
Connect
the
Ethernet
connectors
on
the
LAN
module
to
your
Ethernet
network.
The
Ethernet
connector
on
the
right
is
driven
by
management
module
1
(MM
1),
and
the
Ethernet
connector
on
the
left
by
management
module
2
(MM
2).
Provided
that
both
MM
1
and
MM
2
are
connected
to
the
Ethernet
network,
when
changeover
occurs
between
the
management
modules,
you
can
communicate
with
the
new
primary
management
module
without
additional
intervention,
such
as
switching
a
single
Ethernet
cable
between
the
management
modules.

keyboard,
video,
and
mouse
to
the
appropriate
connectors
on
the
KVM
module
(see
the
for
more
information)
The
KVM
connectors
automatically
switch
to
the
primary
management
module.
If
you
always
use
a
remote
session
to
communicate
with
the
blade
servers
in
the
BladeCenter
T
unit,
you
do
not
have
to
connect
a
local
keyboard,
monitor,
and
mouse
to
the
KVM
module.
