minute,
place
either
another
module
of
the
same
type
or
a
module
filler
in
the
bay.
Preparing
for
management-module
redundancy
To
prepare
your
management
modules
for
redundancy,
complete
the
following
steps:
1.
Install
the
standby
management
module
in
the
available
management-module
bay.
2.
Wait
1
hour
while
the
active
management
module
transfers
firmware
and
configuration
information
to
the
standby
management
module.
The
management
modules
are
now
prepared
for
redundancy.
Notes:
1.
Whenever
power
is
restored
to
a
BladeCenter
unit
that
has
two
functional
management
modules,
the
management
module
in
bay
1
is,
by
default,
the
active
management
module,
even
if
the
module
in
bay
2
was
the
active
module
before
power
was
removed.

use

manage
redundant
management
