USB port
The front panel of the appliance has a USB interface conforming to USB 2.0
devices. This USB connector is not enabled and therefore does not provide any
connection.
LEDs
The front panel of all Type 7199 appliances has three stand-alone LEDs.
Fault LED
The amber fault LED is lit when a critical event is detected.
Locate LED
The blue locate LED is lit when activated by the firmware. You can control
whether this LED is lit from the command line. The LED remains lit until
deactivated. Use the
locate-led
command in the command-line interface:

To activate, enter the following command:
locate-led on
v
To deactivate, enter the following command:
locate-led off
Power LED
The power LED is lit when the appliance is connected to a power source
and you have turned on the appliance.
v
The green power LED is illuminated when the appliance is on and fully
functioning.
v
If the LED is not illuminated, the appliance has been turned off.
Power button
The power button is located on the front panel of the appliance. Press the power
button to:
v
Turn on the appliance.
v
Start a graceful shutdown (if the appliance is already turned on).
Pressing the power button and holding for 5 seconds performs an immediate
hardware shutdown.
