Engine stops Engine idles

shuts off 1. The on/off switch is in the “Off” position.
2. The engine is out of gasoline. Add regular
unleaded gasoline.
3. Air filter element obstructed by debris. Clean
according to user guide instructions on page
11.
4. Adjust choke lever.
5. Incorrect oil being used or insufficient oil level.
Always ensure high oil levels, and use oil
according to oil usage chart in user guide on
page 31.
6. Fouled spark plug, replace with equal or
greater quality plug. Refer to page 29 in your
user’s guide for a complete list of spark plug
compatibility codes.
