Centre of Gravity (CoG)
To ensure the behavior in vehicle service conditions and prevent the possibility of
tipping, the vehicle‘s centre of gravity should be carefully calculated, trying to lo
-
cate it in the most ideal position.
At all events, this calculation will be the responsibility of the Body builder, HMC can
-
not issue any opinion.
NOTICE
- To get official approval for the vehicle, once the conversion work has been
finished, the calculation of the height of the Centre of Gravity should be credi
-
ted.
- The EC Brakes Directive 71/320/EEC must be taken into account, as must
Directive 2007/46/EC.
- HMC recommends entrusting the calculation of the Centre of Gravity to an
expert company or laboratory with proven experience.
