Special points to be considered
If the bodyshell of the vehicle has to be modified to install the cooling unit, the
guidelines in this manual must be followed.

Special attention must be paid to noise transmission due to the groups installed in
the vehicle, and the level kept within the permissible values.

Tractor for semi-trailers
General considerations
This type of vehicle is made up of two parts, the first is the tractor unit or the drive
unit, and the second is the semi-trailer, which is pulled and carries the cargo. The
connection between the two elements mentioned above is performed by a device
known as the fifth wheel.

These vehicles must be specifically developed to withstand the high load conditions,
braking forces and road holding behaviour related to pulling a semi-trailer.
