Install the Wheels
WARNING
Lift truck tires and wheels are very heavy. Use caution
when removing or installing tires and wheels or per-
sonal injury may occur.
Install the wheel on the hub. Tighten the steering and drive
wheel nuts to 170 N•m (125 lbf ft). If wheels are two-piece
rims, make sure nuts that fasten rim halves together are
toward brake drum when they are installed.

Remove Wheels From Lift Truck
1.
Put the lift truck on blocks as described in
at the beginning of this section.
2.
Remove the wheel nuts and remove the wheel and tire
from the lift truck. Lift truck tires and wheels are heavy.
Remove Tire From Wheel
WARNING
Keep tire tools in firm contact with the wheel. If the tool
slips, it can move with enough force to cause serious
injury.
