3. Opening the measurement report
The measurement reports have a file extension e.g. ".026".
This extension may not be recognized by your PC.
A measured data file is comprised of two parts:
Part 1 - General information regarding the recording, sensors
and devices.
Part 2 - The actual measured data is presented in lines after
the word *Data*. The first line contains the column titles. Faults
are shown as negative values, e.g. -0.1 or -1.

The values for SAE A-D or NAS 2-25 as well as the tempera-
ture units are defined by the FCU settings.
You can set your PC in such a way that you
will need to use MS-Excel to open this file
exten- sion in the future.
To accomplish this, open the report file with
MS-Excel by right-clicking on the file and
then on "Open". A dialog box appears in
which you are prompted to select a
program for opening the file => select Excel
here.
Generally speaking, this applies for every file
extension from "000" to "999".
