Clean the protective screen at regular intervals, for example,
by flushing it with solvent or blow-flushing it with compressed
air. Test and clean the suction strainer immediately in the
event of insufficient suction or delivery action.
NOTICE
Operation without the protective screen
The pump will be damaged

Never operate the product without the installed screen
insert.

To clean/ change the protective screen, proceed as follows:

The motor pump group is switched off.
ü
The hydraulic system is depressurized.
1.
Unscrew the screw plug (1) with a wrench
= 22 mm
in a counterclockwise direction.
ð
Operating fluids can escape depending on the
mounting position.
2.
Remove the strainer insert (3) and clean it.
3.
Check strainer insert (3) and the seal ring (2) on the
screw plug for damage and replace if necessary.
4.
Insert the cleaned / new screen insert (3).
5.
Screw the screw plug in (1) with seal ring (2) clockwise
manually and tighten it with the wrench
= 22 mm.
6.
Check the suction strainer fitting for leaks after commis-
sioning.
