1. Push on the deck lift pedal to release pressure from
the cutting height pin.
2. Place the pin in the desired cutting height hole.
3. Release the deck lift pedal.
To place the deck in the transport position:
1. Push on the deck lift pedal until the transport lever pin
slips into the slot in the top of the height adjusting bar.
2. Release the deck lift pedal. Figure 3-14
To release the deck from the transport position:
1. Push on the deck lift pedal.
2. Pull on the transport lever handle until the transport
lever pin lifts out of the slot.
3. Release the deck lift pedal to lower the deck to the
desired cutting height.
Anti-scalp Wheels
Anti-scalp wheels are standard on these mowers. These
wheels are designed to minimize scalping when mowing on
rough uneven terrain. Figure 3-15
An optional rear anti-scalp roller is available.
There are two height adjustment settings for the anti-scalp
wheels/rollers. The upper hole positions the wheels/rollers
25.4mm below the cutting blades and the lower hole posi-
tions them 50.8mm below the cutting blades. Figure 3-15 &

When the mowing height is set at 25.4mm to 76.2mm the
anti-scalp wheels/rollers should be in the upper position.
When the mowing height is set at 82.6mm to 127mm the
anti-scalp wheels/rollers should be in the lower position.
When adjusting the rear anti-scalp wheel, the wheel should
be in the same axle mount hole as the front anti-scalp
wheels.
