GENERAL PROCEDURES

Workshop Manual  Ed. 09-2012

Removal of tail chassis

Remove the lower tail cover and the number plate holder as described in the 

relevant paragraphs.

-   Unfasten the two clips (1) of the shock absorber protection (2).

-   Unscrew the screw (3) fastening the rear brake fluid tank (4).

-   Move the cable harness with the electrical components in the inner part of 

the chassis and place them on the rear wheel.

-   Unscrew the four screws (5) and slide the chassis out from the rear (6).

   When reassembling, make sure that you put the cable harness back 

in the same position it was before.
