Remove protective ring 4 .

Take off the lower triple clamp with the steering stem in a
downward direction.

Remove the upper steering head bearing.

Main work
–
Clean the bearing and sealing elements, check for damage,
and grease.
High viscosity grease ( p. 123)
–
Insert the lower triple clamp with the steering stem. Mount
the upper steering head bearing.
–
Slide on O-ring

Position protective ring

Position the upper triple clamp with the handlebar.

Mount nut
