GENERAL ENGINE PROCEDURES

COOLANT PUMP REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Removal:

-  Drain the coolant as indicated in the relevant paragraph.

-  Open the pipe clamps (1) using a suitable tool and disconnect the pipes (2) 

from the radiator (3) and from the pump cover (4).

-  Open the pipe clamps (5) using a suitable tool and disconnect the pipes (6).

-  Unscrew the screws (7) paying attention to the washer (8).

-  Remove the pump cover (4) with the gasket (9).

-  Use a suitable tool to disassemble the impeller (10) (right hand threading).

-  Unscrew the screw (11).

-  Remove the pump body (12) using a suitable tool.
