Brake linings available in accessories stores often have not been tested and approved for use in Husqvarna motorcy
cles. The structure and friction coefficient of the brake linings and thus their brake power may vary greatly from that of
original Husqvarna Motorcycles bake linings. If brake linings that differ from the original equipment are used, it cannot
be guaranteed that these are in keeping with the original homologation. In this case, the vehicle will not correspond to its
condition at delivery and the warranty shall be void.

Oil, grease, filters, fuel, cleaners, brake fluid, etc., should be disposed of as stipulated in applicable regulations.

Never use DOT 5 brake fluid. It is silicone-based and purple in color. Oil seals and brake lines are not designed for DOT 5
brake fluid.
Avoid contact between brake fluid and painted parts. Brake fluid attacks paint!
Use only clean brake fluid from a sealed container.
Stand the vehicle upright.
Remove screw cap

Press the brake caliper onto the brake disc by hand in order to push back the
brake piston and ensure that brake fluid does not flow out of the brake fluid reser
voir, extracting it by suction if it does.

Ensure that the brake caliper is not pressed against the spokes when
pushing back the brake piston.
Remove cotter pin

pull out pine and remove the brake linings.
Clean the brake caliper and brake caliper support.
