Connection
The FECG transducer is connected via the white socket on the front panel labelled
FECG/MECG. This is used to connect either Fetal or Maternal ECG transducers. It is
possible to monitor FECG for a fetus independently of the ultrasound monitoring. The
FECG channel can be used simultaneously with the two ultrasound channels for triplet
monitoring.
Note
: Sonicaid Antepartum Care Analysis (see section 13) cannot be used in conjunction
with Fetal ECG. If Care Analysis is required, ensure that a Fetal ECG probe is not
connected to the FM800E.
Use only FECG electrodes supplied with the FM800E, or
listed in the Accessories & Consumables brochure. Only
Safelinc™ and Qwik Connect
TM
fetal ECG electrodes are
specified for use with FM800E in the USA and Canada.
Always check electrodes and their packaging before use.
Follow the manufacturers’ instructions for correct use.

on the front panel of the FM800E.
To select Audio for FECG, press Channel Select until the Audio symbol appears by the
FECG display. To turn Audio off completely, press Channel Select until the Audio symbol
