UltraScan PRO Options and Sample Devices
There are many options and devices available for positioning samples at the measurement ports of the
UltraScan PRO and for making the instrument easier to use. For the latest information, please refer to

Reflectance Options
Port Plate, 4-mm Round (A02-1011-184)
This option provides a modified port plate with a 4-mm round opening. This port plate should only
be used when the small area view option is available and in use.
Port Plate, Glass Port Insert25mm (1in) (A02-1011-124)
This option provides a snap-in port plate with an opening one inch in diameter that is covered with
glass. The glass insert protects the inside of the instrument from sample and airborne particles.

Port Plate, Diffuse port, Sample Cup Holder (D02-1003-739)
This port plate sample cup holder consists of 25-mm (1-in) port plate with a holder for centering the
04-7209-00 64mm (2.5-in) Glass Sample Cup designed for use on side-facing sphere instruments.
Port Plate, 3mm Round (D02-1019-172)
The 3mm round port plate requires small area view (SAV) option.
Compression Clamp Kit (L02-1012-387)
The compression clamp kit provides an air-driven compression clamp assembly to be used in place
of existing sample clamp. This accessory is used for compressing fibers into a compact mass that
permits repeatable color analysis. The assembly, modified port insert and glass sample cup, may
also be used to hold carpet, fabric, and other soft samples at the reflectance port with constant
pressure.
