Metal, wood, paint and plastics
1. Chrome surfaces, painted wood and metal
To clean dirty chrome, plastic or painted surfaces, just use a damp cloth. For greasy
spots, you can also use a soap solution or cleaning solvent. Scouring sponges and
cloths, abrasive and scratching implements, and strongly acidic substances and harsh
alkaline solutions can attack the material and cause permanent damage to the finish.
Please avoid using metal cleaner or polish as these are causing an oily shine and stains
on the cover.
2. Changes of colour in wood
Unless otherwise indicated, wood surfaces are either genuine wood veneer, or solid
wood. Natural wood changes with the effect of light – dark woods become lighter,
and light woods become darker.
