5.8 Transferring from Maintenance Bypass Mode to
Normal Mode

Context

Before transferring the UPS from maintenance bypass mode to normal mode, ensure that the
bypass input and output are normal.

Procedure

Step 1

Open the maintenance bypass switch by performing the following actions according to the
UPS version being used:



For the UPS5000-E-200K-SM, rotate the handle counterclockwise 90 degrees (so that it
points rightwards), as shown in

Figure 5-37



For the UPS5000-E-200K-FM, pull down the switch, as shown in

Figure 5-38



For the UPS5000-E-300K-SM/SMT, rotate the handle counterclockwise 90 degrees (so
that it points downwards).

The

Maint. Breaker closed

alarm disappears from the alarm list. Check whether the UPS

works in bypass mode by viewing the system running status diagram on the LCD or WebUI.
