4.3 Parts Replacement
4.3.1 Replacing a Rectifier
Prerequisites
You have obtained an ESD wrist strap, a pair of protective gloves, an ESD box or bag,
and the cabinet door key.
The new rectifier is intact.
Protect yourself from being burnt when removing the rectifier as it has a high temperature.
Procedure
Step 1
Put on protective gloves.
Step 2
Unscrew the rectifier panel using a screwdriver.
Step 3
Gently pull the handle outwards, and then remove the rectifier from the subrack, as shown in
Figure 4-1.

Step 4
Insert a new rectifier into the subrack. Then loosen the screws on the handle and pull out the
handle.
Step 5
Push the rectifier into the subrack slowly along the guide rail. Then lock the handle.
Step 6
Tighten the screws on the handle, as shown in Figure 4-2.
