7 Controlling a Conference

Sites
,
Local Groups
,
LDAP Sites
or
eSpace
tab page, select the desired sites,
local groups, LDAP sites, or eSpace numbers.
From the
Video Call
tab page, enter the IP address or, if the called party has been
registered with the same gatekeeper (GK) as the codec, the site number of the site to be
called.
Tap
to display the full alphanumeric keypad. From this keypad, you can enter the IP address,
site number, or URI of the site you wish to call.
Step 3

Add

To add sites from the contacts list or keypad to the conference, you can also tap
on the home
screen.

7.10 Extending a Conference
Context
The chair site can extend the duration of the conference.
Procedure
Step 1
Tap
More
from the home screen to display the conference controls list.
Step 2
Tap
Extend Conference
to display the extend conference screen.
Step 3
Select the number of minutes by which you want to extend the conference.
Step 4
Tap
OK
.

7.11 Enabling or Disabling Voice Activation Switching by
Speaker
Context
If the chair site enables
Voice Activation Switching by Speaker
, all sites have unmuted
microphones, one of the speakers at a tri-screen telepresence site exceeds the predefined voice
activation threshold and is the loudest in the conference, the screen video corresponding to the
speaker is broadcast.
