7.2 Troubleshooting
Alarm severities are defined as follows:
Major: The solar inverter enters the shutdown mode and disconnects from the power grid
to stop generating power after a fault occurs.
Minor: Some components are faulty but the solar inverter can still connect to the power
grid and generate power.
Warning: The solar inverter output power decreases due to external factors.

The PV array is not properly
configured. Excessive PV
modules are connected in
series to the PV string, and
therefore the open-circuit
voltage exceeds the maximum
solar inverter input voltage.
The following is the mapping
between PV strings and alarm
cause IDs:
Cause ID 1: PV string 1
Cause ID 2: PV string 2
Reduce the number of PV modules
connected in series to the PV string
until the PV string open-circuit
voltage is less than or equal to the
maximum solar inverter input
voltage. After the PV array
configuration is corrected, the alarm
disappears.

The following is the mapping
between PV strings and alarm
cause IDs:
Cause ID 1: PV string 1
Cause ID 2: PV string 2
Check whether the PV string is
reversely connected to the inverter. If
yes, wait until the PV string current
decreases below 0.5 A, set DC
SWITCH to OFF, and adjust the PV
string polarity.
