Installing Batteries
The remote control requires 2 AAA
size (1.5V) batteries.
1. On the back of the remote, press
the battery cover tab, lift and
remove the battery cover.
2. Insert 2 AAA-size batteries,
matching the (+) and (–) symbols
shown on the battery
compartment.
3. Put back the battery cover. Test
the remote by pressing any key.
The Red LED indicator at top
right, should light up to indicate
that batteries are inserted
properly.
RF Pairing with STB
Method of pairing:
1. Press and hold
Setup
Key until
LED indicator blinks twice.
2. Press and hold
Info
Key, till STB
display 3 random digits on TV
screen, LED indicator turn on.
3. Entering the 3 random digits
numeric displayed on TV screen
to pair remote control with target
STB. For each digit key press,
when the key released, LED
indicator acts a reverse blink.
4. The LED indicator blinks twice
once the Remote Control Pairing
with the target successfully.
Otherwise if pairing
unsuccessfully the remote blink 5
times and return to user mode.
Notes:
In Step 4, STB will display 3
random digits on TV screen, user
need press first digit within 8
second. For second and third
digits, user has to press the digit
within 4 second.
If timeout occurs, the LED
indicator blinks 5 times and
returns to user mode.
User also can interrupt the pairing
during Validation Process by
pressing
Info
key.
If pairing is interrupted by pressing
Info
Key, or pairing failed, the
LED indicator blinks 5 times, and
returns to user mode.
Programming to control TV
device
There are two ways to do this. If
your device is listed in the Code List
at the end of this Manual, you can
use section A. If your device is not
listed, you will need to use section
B.
A. Manually
1. Press and hold the
Setup
key
until LED indicator blinks twice.
2. Enter the appropriate 4-digit setup
code for your device (from the
Code List) by pressing the number
keys (0-9) on the remote control
If the LED indicator blinks twice, a
correct code has been entered.
If the LED indicator blinks 5 times,
an invalid code has been entered.
Start over at step 1.
Notes:
If you are interrupted while you are
programming, the remote control
may timeout before you complete
the code setup and you will need to
start over. This is indicated by the
LED indicator blinks 5 times, and
returns to user mode.
B. Using the Automatic Search
1. Press and hold the
Setup
key
until LED indicator blinks twice.
2. Enter

3. Press and hold the
TV power
key
, until the TV turns off.
For step 3, code search will start
1.5 seconds after press and hold
the TV power key.
If an invalid code has been
entered at step 2, LED indicator
will blinks 5 times and return to
user mode. Start over at step 1.

Change Volume control
The remote is set to control volume
level of STB. Once a valid TV code
is programmed, the volume keys will
control the TV volume
A. Change volume control from

the remote
If you need to check the TV code
that been set to the remote, you can
follow the step below.
1. Press and hold the
Setup
key
until LED indicator blinks twice,
then release Setup key.
2. Enter

3. To view the first code, Press

, wait 3 seconds and
count on the number of LED
indicator blinks. (For example, 3
blinks, the code digit is 3)
Note: If code is 0, then LED

If an invalid code has been

Using your Remote Control
The remote control has been
designed to control functions of the
programs and applications as
defined with the equipment
specified.
No installation is required for the
remote control to work.
You will need to install the batteries
(2X AAA).
The Remote Control is able to
function from a distance of 30
meters or more. As it uses RF
technology it is not necessary to
point at the STB to function. It is
able to function even when the STB
is not in your line of sight or is
blocked by other items or devices.
Care of your Remote Control
Do not use your Remote Control in
other ways that it was designed for.
Prevent water or other liquids from
damaging your Remote Control.
Check your batteries to ensure no
leaking batteries are used. For
optimum performance, change the
batteries after 6 to 9 months.
Trouble –Shooting your
Remote Control
1. No red light shown on the
indicating light when pressing the
keys of the remote control:
Check batteries are correctly
installed.
Change batteries if needed.
2. Red light shown when pressing
keys but remote cannot function:
Check power of STB already On.
Power Off then On the STB, and
try to do pairing of remote and
receiver.
