Context
NOTICE
Backup information cannot be restored after you clear it. So, confirm the action before you use
the command.
To clear the backup information, run the following reset commands in the system view.
Procedure
Step 1
Run the
reset remote-backup-service
service-name
statistic
command to clear the statistics
about the RBS.
Step 2
Run the
reset multicast-rui statistic all
command to clear statistics about multicast two-node
hot backup of access users.
This command is used to clear statistics about IGMP messages on the router.
Step 3
In the user view, run the
reset l2tp statistics rui
command to clear L2TP two-node hot backup
statistics.
During the check and verification of L2TP two-node hot backup, the
reset l2tp statistics rui
command can be run to clear L2TP two-node hot backup statistics, including the number of sent
messages, the number of received messages, and information about the last 100 backup
messages.
Step 4
In the user view, run the
reset l2tp tunnel

command is used to test tunnels and sessions, the
reset l2tp tunnel
command can be
used to tear down the tunnels and sessions.

11.10.1 Example for Configuring Dual-Device ARP Hot Backup
This section provides a configuration example for dual-device ARP hot backup in a VRRP
backup group, including networking requirements, configuration roadmap, configuration
procedure, and configuration files. After dual-device ARP backup is configured and a master/
backup VRRP switchover occurs, the new master device takes over traffic and forward it to hosts
without learning MAC addresses of users.
