Procedure
Step 1
In the navigation tree, click the
Logical
tab.
Step 2
In the navigation tree, select the
Replicate Volume Groups
node.
Step 3
Select the replicate volume group on which the disaster recovery switchover is to be performed.
Step 4
Select the virtual IP address of the disaster recovery center.
Step 5
On the menu bar, choose
Configuration
>
Migrate RVG...
.
The
Warning
dialog box is displayed.
TIP
You can also perform this operation by pressing the right mouse button, and choose
Migrate RVG...
from
the shortcut menu.
Step 6
Enter
yes
(case insensitive).
Step 7
Click
OK
.
The
Info
dialog box is displayed, stating "Operation succeeded."

7.2.20 Host Takeover
This section introduces the procedure for host takeover.
Prerequisite
l
The production center is faulty.
l
This operation can only be performed in the disaster recovery center.
Context
NOTE
l
When a fault occurs on the network between the production center and the disaster recovery center and
data in the production center is consistent with that in the disaster recovery center, you need to choose
fast failback
or
Auto fast failback
. After selecting fast recovery, perform
production center.
l
When a disaster occurs in the production center and the production center cannot recovers from the
disaster, you need to choose
No fast failback
. The original disaster recovery center becomes the new
production center, and you can add a secondary host to the new production center.
Procedure
Step 1

In the navigation tree, select the

Step 3
Select the replicate volume group on which host takeover is to be performed.
Step 4
Select the virtual IP address of the disaster recovery center.
Step 5
Select a takeover model.
