MediaPad supports a 32 GB microSD card and USB flash drives connected through the
USB ports.
You can obtain up to 16 GB of cloud storage from Huawei Hispace for free.
I find that my MediaPad's storage is not 8 GB but 5.8 GB. Why?
MediaPad's internal storage is 8 GB in total, of which 2.2 GB is used to store system files and
5.8 GB is used to store installed applications, downloaded files, and temporary data
generated when using applications.
How do I know my MediaPad is the 8 GB or 16 GB version?
You can check the label on the package.

to view your MediaPad's internal and external
storage.
Where are my installed applications?
Installed applications, downloaded files, and temporary data generated when using
applications are saved to the 5.8 GB space.
Can I install applications from a microSD card on my MediaPad?
Yes. To install an application from the microSD card, access the microSD card from your
MediaPad, touch the application you want to install, and follow the onscreen instructions to
complete the installation.
After installing an application on my MediaPad, can I remove it to a microSD card?
This depends on whether the installed application can be removed to an microSD card. If yes,
go to
Settings
>
Application
>
Manage Applications
, touch the application, then choose
Remove to SD card
.
Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) supports installing applications directly on a microSD
card.
How do I access data on a microSD card or USB flash drive?
To access data on a microSD card or USB flash drive, go to

or the
