9.1.3 Installing a CCU Collector

You need to install a CCU collector in a network cabling cabinet.

Procedure

Step 1

Install the floating nuts by referring to

Step 1

9.1.1 Installing the RH2288

Step 2

Place a CCU collector in front of the network cabling cabinet.

Step 3

Remove the ground nut from the side of the CCU collector.



Store the ground nut properly, which will be used to ground the CCU collector.



Before placing the CCU collector in the network cabling cabinet, rotate the mounting ears
of the CCU collector by 180°.

Figure 9-8

shows the rotated mounting ears of the CCU

collector.

Step 4

Place the CCU collector in the network cabling cabinet. Secure the CCU collector in the
network cabling cabinet by clockwise tightening the M6 screws on the left and right mounting
ears, as shown by (2) in
