Impact on the System

Preparations 

Tools: hex key, long-sleeved silicone gloves, vessel, adjustable wrench 

Materials: dry rag, sucker, thermal insulation foam, spare humidifier water refill pipe 

Documents required: container layout diagram 

Skill requirement: cooling engineer 

 

For the diagram, see the quick installation guide. 

Procedure 

Step 1

 

(Optional) Open the aisle floor where a humidifier water refill pipe needs to be replaced. 

Step 2

 

Close the control valve of the humidifier water refill pipe that leaks, and remove the thermal 
insulation foam. 

Step 3

 

Remove the water inside the cylinder using suckers and vessels.   

 

Wipe off the water with a dry cloth if there is not much water. 

Step 4

 

Remove the leaking water refill pipe, and drain the residual water in the pipe to the vessel. 

Step 5

 

Install a new water refill pipe.   

 

 

Check that the safety clamp is secured and that the water pipe does not leak. 

Step 6

 

Open the control valve of the water refill pipe, wait until the new pipe is working properly, 
and wrap the new pipe with a thermal insulation layer.   

Step 7

 

(Optional) Reinstall the aisle floor.

Follow-up Procedure 

Dispose of the removed humidifier water refill pipe that is confirmed faulty. 

5.2.7.2 Replacing the Condensate Drainpipe of a Precision Air Conditioner 

Prerequisites 

 

A condensate drainpipe needs to be replaced. 

 

A spare condensate drainpipe of the same model is available and functional.
