If the iBOX is damaged, hold down the networking switches on all the iBATs managed by
the iBOX to clear present network parameters.
If the iBOX is not damaged, hold down the iBOX networking switch to clear present
network parameters.
Step 2
Label each cable and remove the cables from the iBOX panel.
Step 3
Remove the iBOX.
1.
Remove the iBOX from the fastener.
2.
Record the iBOX DIP switch address.
In the scenario where the iBOX connects to the NetEco, skip this step because DIP switch setting is not
required.
Step 4
Install a new iBOX.
1.
Set the DIP switch for the iBOX based on the recorded information.
In the scenario where the iBOX connects to the NetEco, skip this step because DIP switch setting is not
required.
2.
Mount the iBOX onto the fastener.
Step 5
Connect the cables to the new iBOX based on the recorded information.
Step 6
Set iBOX parameters and perform networking.

8.2.2 Replacing an iBAT
The iBAT needs to be replaced.
A spare iBAT of the same model is available and functional.
An iBAT needs to be replaced when it is faulty or fails in communication. If multiple
iBATs need to be replaced, replace them in ascending order of the corresponding battery
numbers (range 1–300).
Step 1
On the iBOX WebUI, choose
Monitoring > iBOX System > Running Control > Net Join
Config

Replace an iBAT
from the
Operation Type
drop-down list box.
