Ensure that the bending radius of the coiled optical fibers is greater than 30 mm.
If the redundant optical fiber is long for one loop but short for two loops, coil the optical
fiber for one loop to ensure that the coil is loose.
Step 3
Strip the optical fibers and splice them with pigtails.
Step 4
Fix fiber splice protectors on the fiber splice holder, coil the optical fibers as described in
, and secure the fiber protection tubes with cable ties.
Step 5
Close the cover of the integrated splicing and termination tray, and insert the tray back into
the subrack.

6.2 Splicing Optical Fibers in the Straight Splicing
Subrack
Step 1
Pull out the straight splicing tray from the straight splicing subrack, and lift the cover of the
straight splicing tray.
Step 2
Lead in the optical fibers from the right of the direct splicing tray, reserve optical fibers of a
certain length (as shown in figure 2), and cut redundant optical fibers.
Step 3
Strip the optical fibers until fiber cores are seen, clean the fiber cores, splice two optical fibers
of the same color together until all the optical fibers are spliced, and heat shrink the fiber
cores.
