Removing a Lens

This topic describes how to remove a lens.

Step 1

Shut down and power off the IPC.

Step 2

(Optional) Remove the lens cable from the auto aperture connector. Skip this step when
a manual aperture lens is used.

Step 3

(Optional) Remove the Zoom/Focus lens cable from the Zoom/Focus lens interface.
Skip this step when prime lens or manual zoom lens cameras are used.

Step 4

Unscrew the lens in a counter-clockwise direction.

Step 5

Install a CMOS protective cover.

This topic introduces the method for connecting IPC interfaces to external devices.
