5.7.3 One-Click Log Collection

Scenario

Collect SSD and system operation logs when maintaining SSD devices.

Prerequisite

You have downloaded the software package from the Software Download tab at http://
support.huawei.com/enterprise (Product Support > Enterprise Data Center > Servers >
Acceleration Component > ES3000 V3.

Install the

hioadm

tool before performing one-click log collection. For details about how to

install the tool, see section

3.7 Installing the Tool Package

Linux

Step 1

Copy host_info_collect.sh from /linux/tool in the package to /opt/hio.

Step 2

Log in to the OS as an administrator or a member in the administrator group.

Step 3

Run the

bash /opt/hio/host_info_collect.sh

command.

Step 4

Obtain the log file

hostInfoCollect.zip

from the

/opt/hio

directory.

Step 5

(Optional) Delete the log file after use to free disk space.

Step 1

Copy diagnostic_win.bat from /windows/Windows_Tool in the package to C:\Program Files
(x86)\hioadm.

Step 2

Log in to the OS as an administrator or a member in the administrator group.
