Receiving a Broadcast Call
Only a dispatcher operator can initiate a broadcast call. When receiving a broadcast call, an
EP650 displays broadcast call information.
Dynamic Group Call
A dispatcher operator can initiate a dynamic group call. An EP650 can make or receive a
group call in the dynamic group. The list in
Group Management
is displayed as a dynamic
group.
Temporary Group Call
A dispatcher operator can initiate a temporary group call. An EP650 can receive the
temporary group call. After the release of the floor, the temporary group will be deleted.

This section describes operations related to PTP calls.
Making a PTP Call
voice call: Enter the desired phone number using numeric keys, and press

to enter the call log interface, and select a record from the call log, then press

to select a contact and make a
Answering a PTP Call
Press
call. After you answer a
call, the standby screen displays
information about the calling party.
Making an Emergency Call
If you have subscribed to an emergency call number, hold down the Emergency Call key (on
top of the phone body) to initiate an emergency call.
The home screen of an EP650 in emergency call mode has a red background.
NOTE

If you have not subscribed to any emergency call group or number, EP650 will indicate that no
emergency call group is available on the standby screen when you initiate an emergency call.

headphone is connected, you must press the
Call button in the
portable microphone/
headphone to make an emergency call.
