USB debugging: starts the debugging mode. You can run the 

adb

 command to debug the 

phone. 

 

Stay awake: prevents the phone screen from entering the sleep mode when the phone is 
being charged. 

 

Allow mock locations: starts the allow mock location function. 

 

Desktop backup password: sets a backup password. 

 

Pointer location: shows data of the current touch operation. 

 

Show touches: shows visual notifications for touch operations. 

 

Show CPU usage: shows the current CPU usage of the system. 

 

Force GPU rendering: uses 2D hardware acceleration in applications. 

 

Animation scale: controls the animation scale. 

 

Background process limit: limits the number of background processes. 

 

Show all ANRs: shows the

2.19 Can I Use My Phone as a USB Flash Drive? Are There 
Any Conditions? 

Connect your phone to a PC. Flick down the notification bar, touch 

USB debugging

, and select MTP or PTP. Your phone is used as a USB flash drive. Only audio and 

video files can be transferred in the MTP mode, and only pictures can be transferred in the 
PTP mode. 

Media device (MTP):

 allows files such as recordings and movies to be transferred between 

the phone and a PC supporting MTP. 

Camera (PTP):

 allows pictures to be transferred between the phone and a PC that does not 

support MTP. 

HiSuite:

 connects your phone to HiSuite software on a PC and allows you to manage pictures, 

music files, messages, and contacts on your phone and to install or uninstall applications on 
your phone. 

NOTE

 

After connecting Huawei P2-6011 to a Mac computer, you can perform operations on files of the phone 
through MTP. Currently, you cannot access the Internet on a Mac computer by dialup through Huawei 
P2-6011.
