The DDNS server dynamically updates the mapping between the domain name and the IP
address on the DNS server to ensure that the IP address can be resolved correctly.

Pre-configuration Tasks

Before configuring a DDNS client, complete the following tasks:

Connecting interfaces and setting physical parameters for the interfaces to ensure that the
physical layer status of the interfaces is Up

Setting link layer protocol parameters for interfaces to ensure that the link layer protocol
status on the interfaces is Up
