About This Chapter
The terminal supports remote management from the Web interface, allowing users to set
parameters, view settings, and control the terminal on the Web interface.
The major features of operating the terminal from the Web interface are as follows:
l
A user can use a computer to access the IP network to which the terminal belongs.
l
When you access the terminal by logging in to the Web interface on a computer, the Web
pages of the terminal are displayed on the computer screen.
l
A maximum of three users can log in to the terminal from the Web interface simultaneously.
After logging in from the Web interface, the administrator can configure the system,
whereas common users can set only personal settings.
l
Users using the remote control to operate on the terminal have a higher level of rights than
users who log in to the terminal from the Web interface. The former can grant control rights
to or revoke the control rights of the latter.
l
The user can import or export an address book from the Web interface.
l
With regard to inputting information in quantity, such as adding sites to the address book,
