INDICATIONS FOR USE:
The single use Hu-Friedy Washer-Disinfector Cleaning Monitor is designed for monitoring cleaning efficiency during the wash process.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1. Insert a Washer-Disinfector Cleaning Monitor strip (IMS-1200W) into Cleaning Monitor Holder (IMS-1200H) completely. The front side of the monitor with
red test soil will be visible in the holder window, as shown below.
2. Position the Cleaning Monitor Holder face up inside a basket. Place basket on a shelf in the washer. Vary positions and shelves of Washer-Disinfector
Cleaning Monitor placement cycle to cycle.
3. Run a complete washer cycle. We recommend monitoring every shelf on every washer each day for a machine release and using a minimum of
one Washer-Disinfector Cleaning Monitor strip per load for routine monitoring throughout the day.
4. At the end of the washing cycle, remove the Washer-Disinfector Cleaning Monitor from the holder and read the result. Please see visual interpretation of
results below. Caution: Holder and monitor strip may still be hot! Remove with care.
INTERPRETATION OF MONITOR RESULTS:
5. If desired, you may also record the location of monitor placement in the washer-disinfector on the strip itself with a fine tip waterproof marker.
Place a hash mark or circle representing the position of the Wash-Checks on the location rectangle that simulates an imaginary washer basket.
This allows for placement tracking.
6. If desired, staple the Washer-Disinfector Cleaning Monitor strip onto the Washer-Disinfector Cleaning Monitor Record Sheet and complete the
appropriate information. Retain as a permanent record.
STORAGE:
• Store Cleaning Monitors inside the protective foil bag provided at 40-86°F (4-30°C). Do not remove the monitors from the foil bag until ready to use.
• Keep away from disinfectants and fumes.
EXPIRY DATE:
The expiry date is printed on the product packaging.
