5.7 USE OF THE SCREENING MODE
1. Switch on the instrument.
2. Set the emissivity parameter to a value between
0.95
and
0.98
(typically 0.95).
3.
Activate the “Screening” mode (see § 5.3.1.2).
4. Activate the alarm condition (see § 5.3.1.2) and set the maximum temperature
threshold associated with one of the measuring cursors (see § 5.3.6).
5. Activate the Face mode (see § 5.3.2).
6. Select the desired color palette (Iron or Grey scale recommended
7. Select the AUTO measuring mode (see § 5.4).
8. Correctly focus the item to be tested (see § 5.2).
9. Frame the item to be tested at a distance of max 2m.
10. The following screen appears on the display.
