Prerequisites
The authentication mode is currently set to User.
Procedure
1.
Navigate to
StoreOnce

NAS

CIFS Server
tab.
2.
Select to highlight the user name.
3.
Click
Edit
.
4.
Enter the new password.
5.
Click
Update
.
The new password takes effect immediately.
Deleting a local user from the StoreOnce CIFS server
Prerequisites
The authentication mode is currently set to User.
Procedure
1.
Navigate to the
CIFS server
tab.
2.
Select the service set where the user is configured.
3.
Select the user to be deleted (the name will be highlighted), and click
Delete
.
4.
A prompt will open to confirm the deletion of the local user. Click
OK
.
The user has been removed from the system.
