Uninstalling the drivers

Follow the prompts to complete the driver removal process.
Verifying that the tape and changer drivers are correctly
installed
Procedure
1.
Use the Windows Device Manager to confirm that all of the configured paths are accessible to the
operating system.
2.
If the expected number of paths is not available, verify the host and SAN configuration.

In this example, there should be two paths to each tape drive and four paths to the tape library.

The application path list in the table below shows the device handles as presented to a Windows
application when using the advanced path failover driver for the same hardware configuration shown
in
. For the drives, both ports are mapped to the same device handle and one
port is active while the other is the standby port. For the library, the two ports on the first drive are the
active and standby ports and two additional ports on a second drive are passive ports that can be
activated in the event of complete connection loss to the drive hosting the control path.
